Bio
Dr. David E. Gutierrez, MD, FAAPM&R is double board-certified in Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. He is currently the Spine Program Director in the Division of PM&R at Hartford Healthcare. He serves as an Assistant Professor at UCONN School of Medicine and previously at Yale School of Medicine.
Originally from Southern California, Dr. Gutierrez attended the University of California, Irvine before moving to the east coast for his graduate medical training. He completed his Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center, where he was elected Resident of the Year and later served as Chief Resident. He then completed his Pain Medicine Fellowship with Anesthesiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Prior to joining Hartford Healthcare, Dr. Gutierrez was an Assistant Professor with the Department of Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation at the Yale School of Medicine.

Dr. Gutierrez serves the Litchfield County and Greater Farmington Area in Connecticut. Telehealth visits and virtual consultation are also available for the Tri-State Area.
